I believe that our bodies are meant to move. When we are moving freely and fully, we can live our best lives. Events in life occur that hamper our movement, whether it’s an injury or the cumulative effect of repetitive or unhealthy patterns. I strive to bring the body back into balance through movement. In fact, I believe in movement being a form of medicine so much that I’ve devoted my professional life to teaching both patients and practitioners the benefits of purposeful, applied movement. Pilates-based exercise is one of these types of intelligent movement methods that when applied through the expertise of a physical therapist, transforms bodies. Once a body is moving efficiently then it opens up space for improved health, mentally and spiritually. This is the “sweet spot” in life. It is an honor for me to work alongside others to reach this potential.
